What is Detox Diet

There are many book about Detox Diet on the market. Diet is theorized that the chemicals found in food is toxic to the body's systems. And it makes difficult to control weight. In the book "The Detox Diet", Dr. Paula Baillie Hamilton said that the chemicals have an adverse effect on the metabolism of our body like fatted calf at the farm. These chemicals also damage the body's ability to burn food.

Therefore, reducing the chemicals that enter to the body will make the body work better. You will be healthier and your body will not accumulates fat. The trick is to eat organic foods and reducing consumption of processed foods, especially foods that contain harmful substances, such as saturated fats and pigments.  Carol Vorderman recommends to consume vegetables, fruits, nuts and herbs for a month. He does not allow you to consume meat, fish, simple carbohydrates, dairy products and salt.

Can Detox Diet work?


It sounds very good, but apparently, many nutritionists still lack an understanding of how chemicals can affect weight gain. And obviously, Detox Diet will most likely be able to help you lose weight because it makes you reduce your calorie intake.

Lack from detox diet


Detox Diet is generally very low in calories, so you will lose weight drastically in a short time. The risk is that you will be malnourished because of the amount of calories too dramatically reduced. Wendy and Dympna Pearson, Dietary Consultant and Head of the Working Dieticians in Obesity Management, UK, said: "This is most likely due to very low calcium intake because almost 50% of calcium derived from dairy products, and it is harmful to bone health." He believes that there is no strong evidence, which states that certain herbal supplement or tea can eliminate toxins from the body.

Tips for your success


Drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables. Choose organic vegetables if possible, and do not forget to exercise regularly during the detoxification process. No need to let yourself starve, because this diet is not a diet that requires you to feel hungry. You can also add supplements like Detoxil, which contain nutrients that help the liver cleanse toxins and protect your immune system. But avoid extreme Detox Diet, and do this diet gradually. You may also experience headaches, abdominal pain, constipation or fatigue when the body remove toxins.
