Cayenne pepper contains 17 calories per tablespoon. Calories from carbohydrates amount to 7, which contains 3g total, or 1 percent daily value. Calories from fat equal to 7.6, which amounted to .9g of total fat consisting of .2g saturated fat and .4g polyunsaturated fat. Calories from protein equal 2.1, which amounts to .6g per tablespoon, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture nutritional database. Cayenne pepper is a healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Nutrition

Cayenne pepper is rich in vitamin A, providing 2,205 IU per tablespoon. Beta carotene content is 1.158 mcg, beneficial for eyes and skin and protect skin from toxins and disease. Cayenne pepper provides 14 percent Daily Value for vitamin C, with 4 mg per tablespoon; 8 percent Daily Value for vitamin E with 1.6 mg and 5 percent Daily Value for vitamin K, with 4.3 mcg. Cayenne pepper has   2 mg of vitamin B-6, 0.5 mg of riboflavin and  5 mg of niacin with additional folate and thiamin. The mineral containing in cayenne pepper per tablespoon is 1 mg of manganese, 4 mg of iron, 8 mg of magnesium, 16 mg of phosphorus, 107 mg of potassium and 8 mg of calcium with additional zinc, copper and selenium.

Weight Loss

UPI.com published a 2010 report regarding studies done by researchers at Daegu University in South Korea, who discovered that chili pepper triggers proteins that help fight against obesity. The report, published in the "Journal of Proteome Research," a publication of the American Cancer Society, suggests capsaicin in hot peppers decreases calorie intake, shrinks fat tissue and lowers fat levels in the blood. Capsaicin-treated rats lost 8 percent body weight.

1. Vegetable soup chicken broth

Ingredients:

• carrots, sliced round
• cabbage, thinly sliced
• green onion, sliced oblique
• celery (if desired), sliced
• 3 pieces of chicken breast (take the broth).

Spices:

• 3 cloves of garlic, mashed
• pepper powder to taste
• salt
• sesame oil.

How to cook

• Heat the water in a saucepan until boiling.
• Enter the chicken breasts.
• After approximately 20 minutes, take the chicken and set aside. Add the smooth garlic and  carrot.
• Once the carrot changing color, about 6 minutes, add chopped cabbage, chives and pepper.
• About 10 minutes, add celery and half a tablespoon of sesame oil.
• Remove and serve, and sprinkle with fried onions if desired.

This soup is to meet the needs of fiber and protein from chicken broth to meet your nutritional diet.


2. Red peppers cabbage soup

Material:

• 1 small piece of cabbage or sliced organic cabbage into small pieces
• 1 red pepper and sliced into two, horizontal or vertical
• 3 pieces of baby corn, sliced oblique.

Spices:

• 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
• 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
• 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
• tomato soup (small)
• celery and scallions
• salt
• 7 grain whole peppercorns, crushed.

How to cook it:

• Saute onion, garlic, and onions, not overcooked, just fragrant. Then, add the peppers, cabbage and baby corn, stirring until light colored. Finally, add the tomatoes and peppers are softened, stirring until smooth.
• Add sufficient water and salt.
•When the vegetables are considered sufficiently cooked, add the onion and celery leaves that has been sliced, and cook for 3 minutes, remove and serve. Give extra fried onions if desired.

Paprika cabbage soup is useful for burning fat. It is suitable to be eaten after fitness or other exercises.
